Technical Home owner’s insurance and old cars

    In addition to my home owners and umbrella policies, I have three cars with Hagerty. I make damn sure that the current umbrella policy includes coverage on those cars before I close the deal.

    Insurance is paying for a service, you hope you never need. You are also paying for the service you expect from the agent. Most customers pay way more than they will ever receive in claims. It doesn't really mater how great the company is if your agent isn't providing the customer service you deserve. If they figure your policy wrong, you lose if you need to use the policy. Read the policy before finalizing it and ask questions. Or just send me you money and pretend like you're insured. It is basically the same thing you are doing if you don't know what is in your policy.

    And , as usual , be aware that all coverage in all states is governed by EACH states rules , what works in one state is not necessarily true in another !
