The worst thing about it that the are missing the best part of this place.

 

I’ve been wearing HAMB gear to the big shows I attend/enter for a few years now. Trying in my little way to promote this site..And…look dang cool too. Not sure how successful I’ve been on either front, but have sure answered a lot of questions about the site.
Putting the stickers on my rides gets even more questions…and I just bought some more stickers to ‘mark’ my current roadster project.
Also bought some new t-shirts to wear at the big shows this year where I’m gonna show the Tudor.
I know it ain’t much, but maybe sumting.

The discussion is about people who sell on the classifieds but don’t contribute otherwise nor are they alliance members. There was a thread about it but I can’t find it, now back to looking for my offset 9/16 I just had it…….

I too have used the stickers to promote the HAMB.

My club plaque on the Cabriolet...the back side is interesting too.

 

I honestly haven't used the classifieds at all since right after I joined. But other members have gotten plenty of business from me lol. I honestly think a lot of the flippers would have sold a lot more if they'd have interacted like requested. I mean.....I ended up buying a complete 54 Chevy and buying my wife three tattoos as a result of random bs on normal threads lol

 

...I meant for the original post to be a bit ambiguous. It just gauls me to see the people who "use" the place to sell cars and parts in volume, often car dealers, and not only don't contribute otherwise, but can't bother to pony up $50 for an Alliance Membership. I know, it's my opinion and we all have those, and I haven't kept my own membership up all of the time, but I'm also not posting countless ads for cars and parts that I'm trying to sell. Ryan has expressed his reluctance to require sellers to be members and I get that and respect that. It really shouldn't have to come to that. Man up (or woman up) people, this is the cheapest, most focused advertising anywhere.......Don.

 

Thanks for the post...it reminded me I let my Alliance membership lapse.
