Bump because Altereds rule.

 

That is a rare confguration - a front-mounted blower in an altered.
Any ID on the car and location? Maybe Indy looking East?

 

The driver couldn't see around the top mounted blower and injector...................!

I ran across this photo of Gabby Bleeker, one of my fuel altered heroes when I was growing up. I hope it hasn’t already been posted. The Olds powered version was my favorite.

 

I've seen that pic on here somewhere, but it never hurt to bring it back up top the top again.

^^^^ I was there for that event. Pomona, somewhere in the ‘61-‘63 timeframe. My Dad took me each year. I loved the g***ers and the altereds back then, the Blood and Cavil ‘34, Willie’s Pie Wagon, the J&J mufflers cars, Rucker, Sievers and Petrie. Really exciting for a 10-13 year old.

 

Never seen an altered with treaded ( dirt? ) tires. Already mounted moon disc so guess it runs with themk
