The arch nemesis detail of this lead for your truck is great. Absolutely love stories like this.

Just found (was sent a link to) the thread after seeing the truck in some GNRS coverage. I love the truck in current form and all the different details from trying to track it down are what make this site great.

Y'all carry on I've got some more catching up to do.

That's really nice to see...thanks @51 mercules...I have no doubt the show and Hotrod are old friends, not nessessarily by being shown but by just being in the vicinity as it no doubt influenced visits by such excellence. We certainly know that the show outside can be just as rewarding as inside.

Congratulations to @GoJoMoJo on this milestone...I look forward to him chiming in with the latest news on how things are evolving. I wonder if he's been driving it.

You're welcome. Not sure if the original poster still owns it.I think Kevan Sledge from the shifters might own it now.

That wouldn't surprise me as things in Hotrod have that mobility...Maybe Mojo or Kevin may clarify that...is Kevin a member on the Hamb. I do see the Shifters flag by the side. I thought Mojo might have an association with them. There is a quickie showcard/identifier in front of it...I guess Mojo's Hamb handle likely may not have been on that.

He did a fair bit of selective things on that on top of the effort to connect its historical dots. It must be nice to be up close and personal with these blasts from the past.

    Hi all,

yes, I sold it to Kevan a few months ago. I felt it needed to go to someone who would get it out to shows to be seen by the general public. I’m just to busy with other projects, work and other hobby’s to get the truck to shows. The sale of the truck helped finance a 1947 Cessna 120 so I can teach my 13 year old son how to fly.

I appreciate all the posts from Stogy and others trying to track down pictures and history of the truck but I’m sure now that the truck is out of my shop and going to shows someone will recognize it.
