Have tried C&G Ford and all the others, Drake, Concours, Carpenter, no luck. Anyone else have to replace the filler neck on a Ranchero or SW, any ideas, my old one is rotted. I have a new tank from Drake, but the neck isn't available anymore. Thanks

    Try Yogis 800-373-1937.

  3. Go to a muffler shop with your old one as a pattern and have them bend you one up. Take everything back home and remove the cap adapter and reweld it back onto the newly bent up filler neck. WALA! A brand new unobtainable filler neck.

Post a picture of your old one so we know what you need.

  5. ^^^^^ This. That's what I did on my filler neck to extend it up taller on my avatar as the new gas nozzles wouldn't fit down far enough with the stock one without spilling. Save the mounting bracket off yours.

The filler necks from 1980s to 1990s f150s have a short metal stub at the cap end and use large rubber hose to drop to the tank. They would seem pretty easy to adapt. If your not looking for o.e.

Would the neck from a '57-'58 station wagon work? They use the same tank.

  11. Post up on the 57 ford forum.
I came across one a year ago but only got the sending unit to make my own working on. For my wagon.

if you are on IG fomocochop was just getting some parts for 57/58 so he might have one.

I use exhaust tubing and parts from here for one-off stuff: https://www.fillernecksupply.com/

    Yup. Dig around in it.

I have solved many problematic installs with parts from there.
