Short block all back together for this little 283 that I'm going to try to use in the roadster. I have some '58 Power Pack heads, a pair of 9 fin Vette covers and an old Edelbrock Streetmaster Low-rise intake that will round out the build. 20241215_163843.jpg

What a beautiful car! I was 5 in 1955 my dad bought me a 1/4 midget. I just getting interested in racing and cars. I'm going to look for some stagger bolt hole heads for my OE Corvette aluminum valve covers. Maybe a block without side mounts too. I like my banger but a well dressed 265 is calling to me.

Congratulations @ANDEREGG TRIBUTE on a well deserved historic milestone...there will be some incredible ions in the air at the show, that's for sure...Your recent work on this beauty is equally stunning. What a standalone vintage Hotrod. I was just thinking of Tweety...It's funny there have been so many Tribute builds and restorations those big group shots they used to do could be revisited with the biggest hurdle being the logistics.

I bet your signs were awesome back in the day, it’s cool you got to do that for yourself and others. Sounds like your pinstriping has its own unique style now—barbed wire has its own charm

Great show! Lots of work and stress prepping, driving and hoping travel weather would hold out. Turns out driving conditions were perfect getting there and getting home. The car looked decent, the 283 runs and sounds amazing, and now to save some $$$ for some chrome. We were actually pulling out of the parking lot at 8pm, at the expense of some very long walks to the trailer though. Only bummer was not getting to see everything and missing the opportunity to see and meet alot of folks. Thanks to all who have followed our build here and those that helped in some form along the way.

  20. Sorry I missed you at GNRS.
