    Not sure if your question was answered, Dan Webb is the builder, along with Craig Naff doing the body. BTW Craig formed the grille shell from 20 ga stainless.

    Thanks for the photos Tom, I get to see the cars that I missed, just a lot of ground to cover.

    Thanks Marty. I missed some too. I was only there one day this year instead my usual five days.

    Thanks for the additional info. I've bumped a few dented headlights, but making the shell from scratch is amazing. Looking forward to seeing the finished car.

    We spent all day Friday there and went through the museum as well as all the buildings. A really great assortment of hot rods, customs and one offs. Thank you Tom for capturing damn near every one of them for our collective fading memories and making them look better than my fuzzy eyes can. Excellent photography.

    @Tom davison
    Earlier post said you were there for "only" one day instead of your usual five. I think we'd all agree that one day is just fine with us. Thanks for choosing quality over quantity.

    . . . I'm just a little disappointed that you didn't shoot that 28 Mercury Torpedo Salon over by the Suede Palace on Sunday.

  28. I say it every year but it bares repeating but your photography is phenomenal, thank you for sharing your work with us.

    I remember the story of how Robert Johnson sold his soul to the devil at the crossroads to master the blues & the guitar, could lightning strike twice and a young Tom Davidson make a deal to master the camera? HRP

    Excellent work as always Tom! You must have had some sore feet and an aching trigger finger after shooting all of those great cars! I appreciate all of the time and effort you put in to editing and posting your pictures. I feel guilty for going through them so fast. Now I will need to revisit this thread when I have more time time to go through them slowly and and appreciate your work even more.
