I know your skin is pretty thick Gene, but there's nothing wrong with those Dodge trucks.
That's a nice looking Willys in the background though...

    Thanks.
Generally, I'm not too concerned about other peoples opinions of my stuff, we each have things we like and things we don't like. The post before the one I posted just caught me as being kind of funny. All good nature poking fun.

That pic was taken on the cruise at Lloydfest 23. I'm sorry that I can't remember who was driving the Willys. Here is a better picture of it.

How about this hideous English Lorry (from a banger thread video)?
    Well the grille is nice.

Although I have always wanted a '40 Ford Convertible, the color of that one and the skirts kill it for me. I also like the '39 top much better but having a '40 Std Tudor since early '65 is my reason for '40's. I'm one of those that preferred my '39's "Fortyized".

I believe most convertibles were designed to look good when the top was down. Most converts just don't look good with their tops up. Creating the folding top changed the appearance of what probably was a good looking 2 door coupe, and not generally for the good. Once the car bodies got curvy, past the 1920, the folding tops just didn't do them justice.

  13. Not every color looks good indoors and in fluorescent lighting. Maybe it looks better in sunlight. I can’t say I’ve ever seen a ‘39 Ford painted this color but I have seen other cars. They looked good at least outdoors.

  14. The picture of the green car I posted off of the internet is a '40
My comment wasn't about that specific '40, but any '40 Ford convertible with the top up....mine included. Which is why, my top will never be up under my ownership.

The grille looks like a ‘34 Ford pickup re-purposed.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder I have heard. In my opinion the 59 Impala and 37 Zephyr are two of the best USA designs ever. Anyway almost all the designs disparaged in this tread are beautiful compared to what we have today I mean come on Tesla it hurts to look at these vehicles.
