    Quoted below from link above...

"Jeff Beck, S&C Ford, San Francisco, 1968

(Beck) asked me if I knew where he could buy an American hot rod so I took him to the showroom of a car dealer who had one which was for sale. Jeff was immediately fascinated with the car and decided to buy it on the spot. I photographed him writing a check to the dealership. I later heard the car never made it to the UK - something about shipping or permit issues."

Where is it and did it ever get belts on the twin McCullochs?

I don't remember any of the names of the musicians of that time. I recall some of the bands. But I was there?

...it was said this Hotrod wore many guises/faces and apparently this was a winter ritual to remove the body and add some attachments...Hotrod snowmover...anyone who hand bombs the snow would understand...I have the luxury of a snowblower and I wouldn't have but they were different times.

Now if this was a survivor I'd say the VW kit would've been inspired by it...

Those early "corn binders" have such nice lines. As a kid in the early to mid-60s, my uncle had one like this 37' and I always salivated over it even in purely stock form.

That's Martin Croxton's Budd bodied 29 Dodge coupe now on 32 rails with Cadillac and T-5 running gear. Martin is a member of the Melbourne based Vultures club and yes Stogy, definitely down-under
