    How come there are so many of these Daytona/Superbirds laying around rusting away? They not worth anything.

    They were not highly sought after cars when they were new, Chrysler had some issues selling all of them when they were new. A guy could have picked one up pretty cheap towards the end of 1970. For all we know, all the Mopar pictures came from a single website from years ago.

    As usual, it seems like there is a much higher % of Mopars posted here then the other brands. Especially when you consider the Chrysler was the #3 seller in the US at the time, but that number included both Dodge and Plymouth, but the other brands (Ford, Mercury, Olds, Chevy, Pontiac, Buick, and on, and on) were all listed as separate brands.
