36-48 banjo rearend, how wide???

    Can someone tell me how wide 36-47 banjo rearends are??

    I donno about all being the same 52" is whats in the 38 coupe in my garage I think the later rears would be wider

    1946 Ford BP to BP is 54" the early is 52"

    I picked this off either here or the MSN V-8 site. Model thru '34 = 57" measured at wheel mounting surface of the drum. '35 thru '41 = 59.25" measured the same way. '42 thru '48 = 61".

    Thanks guys, i got a banjo in my 36 ford pickup but its not home yet. So is the 36' rear worth using if its behind a 303 olds, will it holdup?
