Been collecting USA Licence plates for ages . And these are my favourite years.

Looking at making some kustom hubcaps for the mercury.
Got a set of 1955 ? Mercury hubcaps that I would like to cut the centre out of and put into the other one.
I've seen this done before on a few different 1949/51 mercury's and think it looks awesome
Any tips ?

 

Never saw that done and not sure how you'd do it but I do like the idea.

Cool Ride you have there! I'm a no for the visor.....Sorry. Just doesn't look right on your ride.......Nether would spots, lake pipes, etc..........I know opinions......But.......

 

Love visors.

No on the visor. It turns the car into the support act.

 

I agree, it takes the proper truck to carry that look.

 

Have not done much on the mercury, but did purchase some 1953/4 fenders for the lip to be fitted to the guards.
This is just a mock up atm.

 

My Mother passed away recently and I had a friend pinstrip her name Judith on the glovebox.
