What is Retromobile Paris, a vintage car show, hot rod show or? I thought hot rods were frowned on in France?

I was there on Tuesday (pre-opening day).
It's a classic car show but for several years the FSRA (French Street Rods Association) has been there. Their stand was not yet set up when I went to see them.
After the rod presented work in progress in 2023, Renault presents this year its "Filante 2025", evocation of its speed record 40 CV from 1925 may be OT

Ive wanted to go for a few years now and a week or 2 ago, got it in my head that "yeah! Im going to make the trip in 2026! " then i saw they are doing a show in new york for the first time in november 2026 so im not sure now. It certainly looks like an incredible show from the coverage is see.
