"Repurposing" a blown tire used as an axle puller? It's a first for me. But now I won't forget it in a pinch.
That movie on the theater Marquee, We're No Angels, is a great movie. If you haven't seen it, you should, you won't be sorry. Not to ignore another great feature on the marquee, Bill Haley and the Comets. Just WOW!
Nice term, “Fatman Steering Wheel…” Hello, When we were shooting photographs of my favorite T Bucket, it made me want to build one. But, when I got inside and took a spin with the owner, it was a ground scraping event. Even at slow speeds, it sure seemed like I could reach out and touch the ground whizzing by. As far as protection from other full size cars on the busy street, well, lets just say it was an interesting experience. I still wanted to sit in the driver’s seat and look forward, so I did after we got back to the photo shoot. San Diego Prowlers Club, Fred Castro’s cool, well built T Bucket roadster. During this time period, or when the car shows/club picnics were in full swing, this roadster could be seen on the coastal highways or even on the freeways. Yikes, freeways… Jnaki But, as we got the photo shoot finished, one thing I noticed was the unique steering wheel. Also, a lack of room for anyone, except my wife who was rather thin, to slip in behind the wheel. So, it was explained to me, as we chuckled and tried to slip in behind the steering wheel.
