The FE alone ( if it’s still a good one ) has to be worth $1,500 and Even better yet if it’s a Hi-Po

Rayson craft boats were good boats. That one isn't set up for circles or drag, but it would be a nice fun little runabout. Maybe an 80 to 90mph boat with that engine. With the right work done it could be a 100 + boat. But those 16 footers (probably a period correct early 60s model) can be a handful when you push them. Still for that price if it was closer I'd be looking at it. 7 boats is never enough.

Edit: On closer examination it would be a good 70mph tops boat. Biggest draw backs are non adjustable cav-plates, bow fuel tank not under the bow, and being stored outside sitting level. Just to start the squawks.

I had a '63 rayson craft with an L88 spec 427 - at about 55mph when the fins came out of the water you were just along for the ride - used to run 80+ mph on the early morning waters of lake George NY - was fun blowing away the rich kids in their checkmates - thanks for the memories

The 41 Continenal is neat. The dual quad engine in it is claimed to be a 55 Lincoln OHV but it sure looks like a Buick nailhead to me.

I was thinking of a Studebaker sedan gasser replacing the Austin. But I could put a tow hitch on it if the Austin is still around. Lol

  26. I agree! Buick engine pictured.

When I was a kid, I had the Matchbox (?) of the Stude sliding roof wagon and thought it was cool.
Now that I'm an old dude, I am fearful of what it would take to get it working properly and seal!
