I just picked up this vintage car club jacket. I was told by the nephew of the deceased hotrodder from Chicago/Brookfield? area that he was into drag racing a 55 Chevy in the 60's called "Razzmatazz". His nickname was Suekey and he was really tall. He said about 7ft. Would be hard not to remember a guy that tall. Ring a bell with any of you guys from that area? The design on the back is just plain bitchin' I think. Nice chain stitching. Just curious. This may end up in the classified section. I'm not sure yet.

It says large but I think it"s more like medium these days. I put it on and it was tight. Probably a 38-40 I'm guessing. You can call me Rob.

Nobody knows nothing? I figured someone from the midwest would have seen this and had a some info. I did put it in the classified section after all.

Hell man, maybe they were all older then and are dead now........A lot of guys that had money to run a drag car in the 60's were in their late 20's and early 30's then. Think of how old they would be now if still alive or have Alzheimer's and can't remember.

Im from Chicago, Born and raised. I can try to do some research. If they were from Brookfield Il. Then i would need to start looking in the south suburbs. Give me some time to find out the legitimacy of the club and previous location.

That would be great. I'm just kinda curious if it was a good legitimate club that was around for a while and what kind of cars were in it. It's kinda neat to know history of these things. You understand right?

If ol Suekey was 7 foot tall he wouldn't be wearing a jacket that small. Cool however, and what the hell do I know. ~sololobo~

I know this is an old thread, but my Dad was friends with Tom Soukup(the jackets original owner)and went to Morton HS in Cicero IL with him. While going through a recent move dad found Toms senior picture in the yearbook. -3945884835413899296.jpg 7142888627861124667.jpg
