Technical Help identify this headlight housing

Discussion in 'Traditional Hot Rods' started by Michael Dyren, Feb 10, 2025.

  1. We are using these what appear to be Chevrolet headlights on our 27 T Touring full fendered Street Rod and we will need headlight bezels. To source these it will be helpful to identify from what vehicle the housings came. Clearly the most distinctive feature is the underside mount pictured below. Any identification help you can provide will be welcomed as would be pointers to headlight bezel sources (preferably chrome). Thanks in Advance, Michael

I agree, some 37-38 GM product. I have 37 Pontiac, with sealed beams on the avatar 34. To do the sealed beams, I cut the front edge off some rotten rusty Guide or BLC buckets, and bolted them on the face, then aftermarket Guide or BLC trim rings fit perfect. Buy the good ones, not the ebay cheepos, they leave a gap at the bottom. 8. Well Super thanks Rusty Valley! Your response was genuinely helpful. I really appreciated your describing how you solved the problem I am also facing. I have reached out to OTB Gear also thanks to you - I did not know of them. Appreciatively, Michael
