Customs Any information about this license plate frame?

Hopefully this fits in our time frame. I don't know anything about it other than it was supposed to be from the 1960s. I'm just wondering if there is anything unique enough about it that one of you could say "This was made by/sold by so and so". Or if it is a more generic "Everybody made those" kind of a thing. Thanks in advance for any help.

 

Judging from the slots and holes, I'd guess it's the latter, a standard aftermarket part.
I'd still clean it up and run it, if it tickles your fancy.

 

Aftermarket and relatively expensive at the time.

 

Maybe one of those "dealer "installed frames.
