Great car. But - picture of front wheel & suspension, rubber brake line looks a little short for a hard left turn. Maybe?

  7. Made by Filter King. They have glass bowl ones as well.

  8. It sure does! Bad angle on the photo. It has a pretty decent zig/zag kinda dip in it. Goes full lock just fine :D

It looks familiar...or let's say inspired by and that's not uncommon in Hambville eh! I agree...it looks sharp... @ClutchDumpinDan congratulations on the many milestones coming together for the grand finale...

  14. Certainly not the first nor last one to do it. Popular choice for good reason :D

    Bobby Hilton’s ‘ Gentleman’s Coupe’ has the same dash. 36 Ford I believe :)

I had something wedged in my glove box door to keep it closed...now I have a small L bracket with a spring hooked on it with the other end on the back of the box...36 had some simple springs hooked on the hinges to snap it shut. I might go that route but I made an aluminum box liner that might interfere with OEM springs so I was going to use a magnetic drawer clip...someday...:)

The black in lieu of chrome really looks awesome too.

  18. ...I was just thinking the same thing. Love that look.

Dan, where did you get the throttle pedal from?

  21. Thanks! I was a little worried at first that it might look too monotone and street-roddy with all the chrome painted black. Looks cooler than I'd expected though, glad I stuck to the plan.

  22. It's a cheap-o. Probably Speedway or Amazon. Good to cut up and make fit where you need. Along with the extra length, I put a pretty good offset in it to get it in the right spot and aligned with other pedals. Cheaper/quicker than building one from scratch.

Very cool project Dan! Nice work! Hey, are the pedals from R Jays? Looks like the clutch is 180 degree and the brake is 90? Were they two separate assemblies?

Dino 64 and ClutchDumpinDan like this.
  24. Thanks Kevin! Pedal assembly is one unit. Correct, clutch M/C is 180º and M/C is at 90º

Been awhile since purchase, but I think it came from Kugel. Lot of people making them now luckily and they aren't insane expensive anymore (or I'm not so cheap?)

  26. The Hemi Coupe is on the road! It’s gotten some test miles on it when the weather has allowed. Everything is dialed in and ready for the owner to enjoy it while deciding on some final interior and trim details.
