My only complaint is that my good looking Cokers rode rough. I have been looking forward to a new set since I first learned about these last summer.
    Nice write up Ryan.

  2. Well dang, just paid retail last year for Diamondback Auburns. Great tire though, no complaints. Unless Coker gives me a set I won’t be changing until these are wore out.

Had bad experiences with Coker on two different occasions. As far as I’m concerned they don’t deserve another chance from me. Have taken my tire business to DB Tires in the past years and have been very pleased with their product and service.

I've had Coker radial wide white wall tires on my 1950 Ford coupe for the last ten years. Very happy with them. I just bought five bias ply tires with tubes to put on my newly powder coated gloss black 16" stock wheels.

Good to hear they're back. All of the negative posts about Coker quality is a bummer. I've bought many, many sets of Cokers over the years with excellent results. All bias but I don't have it in me to put radial whites on anything I drive. Just isn't right in my opinion.

  6. I’ve run Coker supplied bias ply’s and radials for the last 25 years and have no complaints. I don’t doubt there have been a number of unhappy customers, but I think it must be a squeaky wheel situation and that most customers are happy.

  7. Corky is a great guy! Get to know Wade Kawasaki, a partner at Legendary Companies, which owns Corker now. Wade is also a great guy, a real car guy and a SoCal hot rodder!

I called yesterday because I have an older set of Diamondbacks that probably need replacement soon. It's 20% off. It's tempting, but I think the Auburn looks nicer, and my old set lasted a long time. I'll forget about the few hundred bucks but be disappointed I didn't get the tire I like better, so I'll be ordering Diamondbacks again. Nothing against Coker, I've got their bias plys on my other cars.

Had a set of Coker big and littles on my hot rod and nothing but good things to say about them. Went with Diamondback Auburns because I got tired of every little seam in the road and the painted lines in the road pulling the bias plys all over. I grew up in the bias ply era so I'm no stranger to how they ride but the Diamonback's really look the part and ride so much better than the bias plys. That said, it's great to have another choice from another great company like Coker.

I used to have bias ply on my Dodge but they are 450 -650 dollar each now here in Sweden.
Radials with 1-inch white is about 150 each.
It really hurts the wallet to have good looking tires this days.:(

Would love to see them bring back the Vintage Wheel Works line. They purchased the company sold the remaining stock, said they were retooling and... crickets.

I bought a set of red lines for my Vette. Expensive but they gave me 10% discount for being a first time customer.
