need some advice....i have 1 set of barker hi lift rockers(6) and cant find another set i also have 5 fenton hi lift rockers, i could never find anothere1 if i just use the barker set should i put it on intake or exhaust side? everything is stock
Since the 223 uses a shaft mounted rocker setup, the ratio for all rockers must be the same. Try reaching out to Rocker Arms Unlimited in Redding, CA. They make aluminum rockers for many applications, and may be able to complete your set
Couldn't you just move the pushrod cup/ball location a smidge on whichever set you want a different ratio? And then string them all on the same shaft?
This all depends upon the amount of ratio change between the rocker sets, and how they were designed. The locations of valve tip, pivot shaft, and push rod are constant, and so define the rocker ratio. Truly high ratio rockers should have been originally supplied in a full set (12) and included offset towers. If the length between the valve tip and pivot shaft were kept constant, and only the push rod cup moved closer, the change in ratio would have to be very small. My guess is about .05
