Features 1952 - 1954 Mercury Customs Thread

I was unable to locate a thread through Search, so figured I'd see what was out there. If I missed it, please direct it my way. Looking for inspiration for my 52 custom Merc. Show me some pictures of 52 to 54 Mercury’s.

 

No pictures of 1952, 1953, or 1954 custom Merc’s?

 

This is actually a 54 Ford with I believe an extended frame and Mercury front end

 

I would like to see more Mercurys like this as well

Front view of my 52. Hooded headlights, 54 bumper, 53 grille teeth, 54 Monarch lower hood trim.

 

Back in the day ( 60's ) 58 59 60 Thunder Bird front bumpers were mounted to the front. Some kept the grille others changed it. The rear had 56 Packard tail lights with extended fenders with the Continental kit frenched between them. First saw this at***** Corkies Corks shop in Pine Brook, N.J.. He later went to work for Barris.

 

My old 53 Monarch. I bought it as a fun cruiser, did a few custom modifications, and sold it when I realized a garage costs more to build than I thought. The guy who owned it when these pics were taken a few years back passed on, and his widow has it sitting in the barn, mostly forgotten. She has no interest in it, and wants waaay to much money for it. Sad.

 

I'll post up my current project. 54 sun valley currently getting chopped.
