Has anyone done this ? I want to change my 3 speed t87 top load column shift to a floor shift . I have found a 1949 f1 floor shift model ( out of state ) so not able to do a hands on check , but it is a t87 and the bolt pattern looks to be the same , I would not think there would be any internal difference but I am am not sure . Any help would be appreciated

T87 seems to be the heavy duty 3-speed for F-1 Fords.
