I doubt ol' Tom never gave much of a thought about a bunch of us guys sitting around talking about how cool his pit p*** is 65 years later. It captures a moment in time which is the same reason I keep all my HAMB Drags stuff although that stuff will likely only have significance to me. -Abone.
I agree. I kept a lot of stuff from Bonneville and the HAMB Drags. They both meant a lot to me. I hope someday someone else will note their value
Totally Cool to see some old racing history. I still have my old Press P***es from Road America and Blackhawk Farms where I spent countless hours hauling camera gear over hill and dale and around to countless corners. I also worked as a "corner cop" and at one time was working on getting my "Starter's License" helping out at sports car club events. I certianly wasn't a crusty old guy but a young kid enamored with all things automotive. I plan on leaving all to my nephew, who I also got into all things automotive.
