Technical 1950 Merc Woodie Fuel Tank

    The replacement tanks sold by Tanks lists a trapizoidal shape which fits the 1950 car. The Woodie has a rectangular tank similar to the one that Tanks identifies as fitting 39 to 48 Mercury and 41 to 48 Fords. Is this rectangular tank one to fit the 50 Mercury Woodie? I've not had mine out to verify dimensions but hoping someone here knows.

    I used the one Tanks offers several years ago. it was a bolt in , but my memory says I had to make a very slight mod to the stock woodie filler neck, I think the angle on the new tank was slightly off or something
