Got a 32 sedan that the previous owner removed the beltline window insulation. I put Velcro in its place but the Velcro will not lay flat and keeps bunching up. Any ideas what I can use in place of the Velcro and where would I purchase it.

Original 32s don’t have any felt product on the horizontal runs. But, you could use the one-sided window fuzzies in that place. Restoration supply shops sell it with a black bead on top, a stainless bead, or no bead. Measure the thickness you’ll need to do the job, and order the correct one. Glue in place with black window urethane.

Another thought, instead of fuzzies which actually just insulate against vibration, you could use an actual wiper type. Lots of possibilities as there are different thickness ones, some sit over the edge and are kinda ugly.

I also tried Velcro, waste of time. I now use the flat fuzzie strips designed for the purpose. I've had success with some of the high tech glues. Just make sure they're where you want them because they dam hard to move if you make a mistake.
