I have two wheels that I would like to know what they came from, 15"x 6" with a 5 1/2" bolt pattern. They have 4 dimples that are in the rim just below the lip in the tire bead area, I assume for a wheel cover or beauty ring.
If they're Ford, they should have a Ford logo on them someplace shouldn't they? (it may be obscured by rust.)
I agree with Stuart. Ford logo usually on one of the flats between the lug holes. Jeep, IH scout, and others use that pattern
I believe those are 49 to 51 Lincoln wheels the bumps around the out side are for full wheel covers they will take a 50 merc cap but are 1/2 inch wider. I ran a set on the back of my 32 roadster .kind of hard to find
I have ran 49 -51 mercury wheels on a few cars they are 5.5 I love the look & they are not reproduced photo of Lincoln wheel from the back of my roadster if you look close you can see the bumps
Thanks everyone for the response, I couldn't find any logo between the lug nuts, so 49-51 Lincoln seems to be correct. In the picture of Tim Troutman's roadster wheel, I can see the dimples around the rim like mine. That Firestone whitewall on the red wheel looks great! Thank's again
