Technical ID seal Banjo Washers

I had such a hard time getting the alum or copper style crush washers to seal I was afraid the threads in the Alum MC were going to strip so I recently found:

Those are the neatest thing since the invention of the (fill in the blank)!
I'll have to get a couple of them for the aluminum Corvette M/C in my Nova.

 

We used to anneal copper washers and reuse them. Bob

 

Those work great. They are popular in the Harley Davidson community.

 

I've always called them Stat-o-seals. I've used them many times on the scooters. I have a set on the front calipers on my heap. They have always worked great for me.

 

I tried to anneal but still had to use high torque. I remember serrations.

Cummins Diesel uses nice seal washers also, many different sizes .They are measured in mms

 

I ordered some Earls Stat o seals from Holley, when they get here I will post quality/fit.

 

That would be Earls and unless something has changed in design/mfg, these are high quality, same as the Earls line of AN type fittings.
