I’ve had this idea of putting ‘39 gauges in a ‘34 dash, but would like reference pictures, if anyone is holding? thanx in advance! BR, Dannerr
Might have to squint a little bit here ya go painted the glove box door because it was distracting me lol might put the center gauge up a little higher now that I’m looking at it some more
Would you mind giving it another go, @Tim ? Have been looking at this picture on every toilet break since saturday, and now I also are annoyed with the out-of-center tach!
Cool I mostly tried to make the center gauge have the center line up with the centers of two on the left half
As I wanted- again, thanx a million! Thank you, @Ford72! The story is- I found the tach at a swap meet in April 2016, and at some point, I noted, that ‘39 standard (as I could google) looked awfully similar. When I was kicking about these ‘34 dashes, that I bought semi-local, I tried the tach, but it was too small- so I finally dug up an old add for a set and ordered them- thanks for the deal, @ironandsteele! While waiting for them to arrive at shippers, to be consolidated with a spare oil+temp+amp+gas gauge and a crusty glove box door, I thought that someone might have done this already, and someone else might have taken a picture of that- therefore this thread is a picture request. Will update, as the project progresses, but don’t hold your breath- it WILL take a while, most likely years, before commencing.
