I haven't done this in a long time, a friend has come across a 1950 ish Stude pickup, sat abandoned in town here (Princeton BC) for tons of years.

He made the mistake of going to the local insurance office for advice, so far, he has located the original owner, sent the registered letter, got it back which should have been the end. No, the agency called ICBC for help, that led to all kinds of problems, as anybody who's gone through this knows. Advice? Contacts?

Agency? Who? What? Will the owner sell it? Fill out the transfer paper and that should do it. As long as there is still an ownership paper.

Owner either dead or moved on, it's been 50 years.

@trollst call ICBC main office and ask for the last chance office. They will set you straight. You have already done most of the steps. The regular ICBC people don’t have a clue.
