Hey y'all did some digging and I can't seem to find the decoding charts for her.... Can anyone decode my 1934 chevy standard 3 window for me? 60C085112 Thanks in advance!
That number decodes to a standard 1934 Chevy coupe built at the Nashville plant on Tuesday, June 27, 1934, with black paint, light brown mohair upholstery, green pinstripes and wheels, full tool kit, extra trim rings, optional radiator cap and bumper guards, special order no carpet (rubber mat), with a 1923 Ford as a trade in to the dealership in St Louis. Sold on Thursday, August 8th, by salesman Alan Wright at Filmore Motors on East Washington Street. Sorry I can’t tell the buyer’s name.
WOW... OK..Thanks! I was under the assumption that the VIN starting with the 6, I thought that was a california production car
Ken, Are you sure the vin doesn't read 6DC085112? The 2nd and 3rd digits tell the body trim level. 6- is the assembly plant code for Oakland, CA DC- would be for standard body trim. (DA would be on a Master series) 08-is the month car was built (August 1934) 5112- car #
Honestly bud I couldn't tell ya.... It's what was on the title I have....They did give me a copy of the title from the early 60's and it all looked the same
