Been kicking myself since I sold off my '73 Suburban 4x4 Granny gear stick... lately came across this 96 Dodge 4x4 318 stick. Only 170,000 miles. needs a tune up (o r maybe just fresh gas)... but runs decent and the air conditioning works.
That must be the true advantage to living in Arizona. That Dodge is clean and a work horse. If we find them up here they are almost always rusted beyond reasonable repair cost to make them dependable. while the 318 doesn’t have the grunt of the 360, they tend to just keep going.
My tow pig. Always wanted one of these and a year ago the stars aligned and traded in my suburban on it. I miss the length of the Burb but eh.... You only get one time around...

Bought this truck not long after I retired in 2010. I was looking for a newer Suburban when I stumbled across this 1969 way too cheap on local Craigslist ad. Interior was trashed, but it had a new 350/TH400, and good paint. I replaced all the seats with leather electric buckets and folding rear bench from a Durango, and did full carpeting and new door panels. At $2,000 it was stupid cheap for what I saw around here. It's been daily driver, tow rig, and now just occasional all around hauler.
I picked this up just before Christmas. I could probably put some steel wheels and wide whites on it and have it fit in on the HAMB but I like these wheels Someone did a nice pinstripe job on the dash giving it more of a HAMB feel

Well, it is sort of hard to eat your pizza and have a nice cold Pepsi when its 70 degrees with the sun in your eyes.
One of the dozen or so Square Body Suburban's I built /painted way back when they were hot! I think this may be the only one that had its picture taken digitally. One of these days I will scan in some pics from the old days before digital cameras, but honestly back then not many pictures were taken of what we built. It didn't seem important at the time, but now...It would have been really cool to have pictures of them!
