Looking into going to the Kyana Indoor Swap meet in a couple of weeks at the Kentucky Expo Center. It says largest indoor swap in the USA.and vendor sold out. Anybody been there? Going there ? What can I expect?

  2. Haven’t been for a couple of years, but it’s pretty big, all indoors and heated.
Lots of non car parts. I’ve bought everything from ammo to a sheet metal brake. But also some pretty good parts.
Can be a cold outside wait if you get there before it opens. Check the weather.

One of my favorite swap-meets to attend. It's well worth the two-hour drive to me. As mentioned before between 10am to 1pm is usually packed. By 3 o'clock on Saturday some people are packing up. Sunday their packing up by 1pm.

This weekend is Wichita? Somehow I always forget that one. I haven’t been in several years now.

  11. What a coincidence. I just came from my shop. Been making a list and gathering stuff to take to a swap meet. I need to clear out some things to make a little extra space in the shop. I have a couple of options as far as swap meets to attend. I am going to stay fairly local though. Plus, if something were to happen to me, the wife and son have no idea what most of this stuff is, much less what any of it is worth!

I usually go to the swap meet and it has always been good to me!! But this year my granddaughter was spending the weekend so I had to pass. It a 6 hour drive for me and well worth it.

Made the trip 5 hour drive one way .Very reasonable admission but $15 to park is nuts .( I know that is not a charge the Swap Promotor gets) Only $6 to go to the Columbus Spring and Fall Ford Swaps at their State Fairgrounds.Anyway bought about a half a dozen items I was looking for. Great Swap!
