Hers definitely won't be that squashed lol

 

So watching that Canadian hammer out a custom 53 Chevy truck in between wrestling his cats got me to thinking. He mentioned when doing his hood that starting with a GMC hood may have been easier with his caddy grill. While the 48 olds grill will be a ways down the road we may be $ ahead just getting a GMC hood. Would save work in the long run along with it seems GMC hoods are a bit cheaper

 

So this is the grill setup we're thinking. To explain how she's deciding on stuff like this that wouldn't normally be what a 15 year old girl would come up with Is I basically give her a bunch of ideas. And show her pics of cars with said modifications. Then she picks from those. Two reasons why we do it this way. One. She really doesn't either know what she wants or she doesn't know how to explain it. Two. She doesn't know what exactly is feasible and/or what I'm willing to do. I'd shown her the style grill itself before. Came across this pic on FB today and sent it to her. She responded with massive approval lol

Not sure. Like I said pic was a random FB find. At this time we're planning on sticking with single headlights for two reasons. One obviously less work. And two she's in love with my 53 and seems to like touches that remind her of it. So it'll get 54 Chevy car headlight bezels and possibly the bodyline that runs next to them
