    I can see the 4x4 I was referring to the metal bracket and how it's attached to the hoist.

    Use the chain bolt hole attach 6 inch metal strips on each side of hoist connecting to a pivot point on 4x4 bracket

    If you could you take a pic of the setup without the cab and share, that would bolster the explanation quite nicely...

    I'm sure it was carefully balanced before lifting very high.

    Made a long U channel from 2x6s and a 2x4 with all thread bolts it to hoist arm at chain hole to pivot. Rachet strap to secure it. Worked well for a one man show. Many times actually. PXL_20231013_173157539_Original.jpeg
