I was there to share photos, progress on our projects, art, travels ect.. Then folks started losing it & arguing over covid, politics, religion & just about everything else I decided to cut it out.
    All good, Nothing dramatic.

Look forward to hopefully seeing you're 36 in person next year.

It’s been a bit, but I primered the 36. It came out ok, it’s not the best nor the worst. Getting ready for the HotRod Showdown on the Feb 22nd. Also added my side hood spears. Also going to lower the front a couple of inches hopefully this weekend.

Love this build and just saw you mentioned lowering the front a couple inches. That will look great! I want a tail dragger stance on my 40 Merc as well and just got a dropped axle to get the front down a couple inches as a start.

I am a die hard 36 guy and a taildragger is on my bucket list. I keep coming back and looking at this pic, so you are hitting the mark. Well done sir.

Well the weekend of The HotRod Showdown came and went, started the day leaving the house and it was 36 degrees outside. So a couple of buddies and I headed north to the Wimberly, TX. I was very surprised to have won The HotRod Garage Texas award, those guys build some amazing Hotrods and Customs, so it was an honor to be recognized by them.

Dropped axle is definitely on the list, but first gotta get the new flathead built.

So glad you dig it. I’m going to drive it for a bit like this, next thing is the new flathead, possible Zephyr dash. Stay tuned

Well done, good to see you enjoying the car!

  22. Nice work, great tribute. That is quite the execution. Do you have provisions for front turn signals?
