Looked on line , @ one time I thought I seen like a 20 -24 inch made out of Aluminum , resembled a 4 spoke steering wheel , Anyone know of ?
I made a 30" wheel out of plywood, then went to one of the local print stores and had them print off a generic degree wheel at 30" diameter. This is the one I use now, https://www.blocklayer.com/degree-wheeleng I just enter the cam information and have it printed off in the size I need. Then when degreeing the cam, theres no figuring, its all right on the degree wheel.
I have seen them in the past but don't remember where. If you can't find one, here is a picture of a Moroso thats pretty large......maybe 16" or so off the top of my head. I have this one mounted on a modified wood lathe and can use it to check camshaft specs in the lathe. Speedway has a 16" with 4 spokes.
Wow cool, I saved this and will use it in the future Thanks! @Bentrodder the larger the wheel the more accurate your degree readings will be - less error, also easier to read. Dan
You might not want one when you see the price! https://www.summitracing.com/parts/...IHXQp4Mdlej4UJjH9W2MABtpAeH4_IGJVYcWo32Rz91Ht
I have a few 9 & 12 , looking for 20 -22 Maybe , Big Diesel or Aviation . Good ideal on Printing degs on vinyl or sticker @Joe H .then add to aluminum or plexi /Lexan etc. & @Oneball Yes $$. Comps is 16 inch, If I remember correctly, what stood out on the steering wheel design deg wheel You could rotate wheel turning The crank ,
I found when i printed on paper from home and taped them all together, it worked just as good as a one piece printed at the store. It was super easy to check with the cam spec's already on the degree wheel. I used a old small degree wheel to bolt the large diameter plywood to, 1/4" plastic would be a good choice also.
