There's that photo again. Back on page 92 of this thread I was trying to find out if it was Landy or one of the Mancinis who had the transmission failure. I emailed the Mancinis, but no answer .

It’s the Landy car.

 

Bet he had a hell of a mess to clean up.....

 

Landy is noted for a transmission failure in '66 in a Dart, though that came with flames (he was burnt) and was described as "at speed". The photo above pops up frequently, but no matter how creatively I use Google I can't find a connection between it and Landy driving. It would be cool if it was Landy though.

Man, that really hurts...and hits close to home.

 

The winter is gone and my shops is still such a mess I can't even see the roadster.

 

I wanted to work on improving the brakes on my’56 Fairlane but my daily driver sucked up most of my spare change and time I needed. It was also too damn cold many of those days to work in the garage. I only have a small space heater that barely made a difference.

 

Maybe you need to try some of those water less cleaners?

 

Looks like it might be flooded.

 

Needs a snorkel. Well, and a periscope.

Not a high seed fix but for just lumbering along it should be fine.
