  3. Thank you.
It's funny I knew by the styling it was a Mopar.
That car is way cool there's even a Wikipedia page about it apparently.

I posted a deuce coupe back in post #786 that is now owned by a HAMBer.
unfortunately my pic is gone and I can't find his thread.
I don't think he found it thru this thread though.
It was black with flames and it turns out it may have drag racing history.

I don't see this as a viable project, more just some parts staged, but maybe it's what you want.

I don't know how many of the vehicles shown here have been purchased by HAMBERS, but there sure seems to be a lot of the ones that were good deals, were gone a few days later. I'm sure some were just sold through the process, but I suspect a lot of them were seen by friends of friends and got great, free, extra, advertising to help move things along.

Sure wouldn't hurt to have your "for sale" vehicle show up here, posted by someone else.

Personally, I'm not looking for anything, but somehow I just can't pass up looking at the new postings. I had no idea some of this stuff was still around! So Thank You! If you keep posting them, I'll keep looking.

    I thought so.

I saw a similar year but very tidy woodie at GNRS earlier this year for sale for US$120,000 from memory. I figured that means that they cost a bomb to restore.....

@gene-koning I've contributed a number of the listings and I can tell you they were all from searches, not personally known unless specifically stated. I've tried listing a few of the things I'd like to move here and elsewhere, but wouldn't take advantage of this thread to bypass the normal classifieds. I know you weren't pointing at me specifically but rest assured I am just posting things I've found that I felt were low priced and interesting.
If I had more positive cash flow, I'd be looking hard at hauling the trailer out thru Vegas and up into Utah for that Model A. :D

It is probably a good thing I'm really not looking for anything.
And that I have no extra money.
And that much of this stuff is too far away.
And that I no longer have a means of dragging anything home.
Other wise I would probably be collecting a bunch of "stuff" my son and daughter would have to get rid of after my time has passed. There is already enough junk here for them to have to deal with then. My sister and I spent a good share of the early part of last year cleaning out my mothers house when she moved into the nursing home and passed a couple months later. She had less stuff then my wife and I have, we have started removing the things we no longer need. I sure don't want to add more to our collection of stuff that my son and daughter will have to deal with.

I do enjoy looking at this stuff that I don't have the ambition, or the knowledge, to find myself. This is a great thread for us lazy people! The old saying is "Looking doesn't cost anything, its buying stuff that costs you." applies to me these days. I have lots of reasons for just looking.

Nope, Washington, between SpoCompton and Seattle. Just a few hour drive from me.....I need another truck like another hole in the head, but it sure looks like good daily beater material.

About a 1940 Plymouth 4 door sedan. At the very least, the steering column is not original. Looks like a lot of stuff may be missing as well. More complete versions at nearly the same price are around.

YOU GUYS THAT SAY IT'S ALWAYS A DODGE (OR PLY OR MOPAR). YOU NEED TO BRUSH UP ON YOUR CAR ID.

It's a 1947-8 Ford. Check out the gas door and the dash.

  29. The rear shot reminds me of that era Ford sedan.

I'm thinking about checking it out. Where might I find a VIN and/or data plate?
