another member made me these scoop filters, I took mesh with ***** hose over it and seem's to not be too restrictive, we'll see.

Many decades ago I lost a fanbelt on my 340 Duster in a town not too far from the city I was living in. Having heard that *****hose could be used in an emergency, I attended the closest variety store and, wanting the largest size available, I asked for a pair of King Size ***** hose. The two girls at the counter laughed (I mean LAUGHED ) at my request then explained that ***** hose aren't meant for "Kings", they're for women so I won't find any King size. At this point we all laughed and I explained why I wanted them It wouldn't surprise me if they actually make a King size now For those interested, I got maybe five miles out of them ... never tried it again as I always carry spares now
