This shot of Malibu reminded me of our neighbor when I was a kid in the 60's-70's. He was Terry 'Tubesteak" Tracy. Legendary Malibu surfer going back to the mid '50's. He built and lived in this shack, I think it was called the pit, out of stuff he found washed up on the beach. He's also the guy that named Kathy Kohner 'Gidget'. A mashup of girl midget.
