Hey yall new ish member, had an account years and years ago that I've long since lost though it wasn't too active just been a long time periodic lurker, I've spent most of my shop tinkering time over the years messing around with bikes so never really had anything to post about, just acquired a 30 model a coupe that Im about to pour my time into so figured I should introduce myself, love how active this forum has stayed, and don't let the badge fool you this is my first post, couldn't p*** up that alliance discount, paid for itself in one order to eastwood very cool. Recently started doing a bit of sand casting, initially for chopper things but working on a tail light housing now, planning to cast as many things as I can for the coupe. Anyhow howdy yall. Here's my starting point, got a long way to go
Welcome, great project to start with! You're right about the time investment, along with some $$, BUT the results are worth it. Look forward to watching your work transform the '30 into the ride you want. Keep us posted! Ed.
Thanks yall, Im looking forward to, Im sure I'll start up a build thread when I get far enough along to make it interesting, hoping to get the motor out and the body off here soon and start cracking away at the ch***is and get it actually rolling, driver rear is locked up so maneuvering is a challenge at the moment lol must have taken 3 hours to get it off the trailer and into the driveway with a come along a car a tree and a fencepost lol.
