I didn't want to hop on anyone else's thread. Has anyone used a Winters "No Change" rear. How close was it to looking like a stock banjo and do the bells have an o ring or gaskets to adjust like the stock banjo?.
I haven’t so I went and took a look . Holy Shit !!! They ain’t cheap !!! I would think they would match up. I saw that Speedway has one. You might be able to get any questions answered there. Good luck
I've done a couple on customer chassis. To dam expensive, not much bang for your buck. V8 QC is a better deal.
I've to agree with Krylon32 that is a lot of fun tickets to spend to have a rear that looks like a stock Ford Banjo from 3- Ft. I see the point of having new and stout gears and axles though.
Some HAMB discussion about the original Here: https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/halibrand-no-change-rears.41706/
I'm just wondering, I really would like a banjo under there. The Hot Rod Works modified original one is good for maybe 200 hp they said (even less torque with anything slightly sticky tire wise). What about Speedway Engineerings offering: https://1speedway.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=81&product_id=110
I have an NOS Halibrand differential and R&P. Will fit in an original Banjo. These are not a limited slip, but they have 31 spline side gears and will accept push in axles. Send me a conversation and I'll give you the specifics.
