Was thinking about going. Haven't been since '19.
Just won't be the same without my partner in crime, in tow. :(

And Slows BBQ is right across the street!

    So, guys... how was Friday?

Sometimes I think about how grueling it might actually be to show a car over a weekend. Always a lot of cleaning and set up and other preparations for a show, and then three whole days. Could wear a guy right out.

I met a guy years ago who had just finished a beautiful black cherry 2dr Model A and was scheduled to show it at Autorama. I promised to look for him and did. And found him. Sunday afternoon. "Sitting" next to his car in a lawn chair, head laid back, arms hanging. Completely asleep. Just out.
I let him have his sleep. LOL

    How was Friday's show?
Tiring, but we're talking about a 68 year old trying to keep up with his 43 year old son and 16 year old grandson, lol.
Good show, something for everyone's tastes.

Here's a few that caught my eye... The Pontiac wagon was a 421 tri-power, 4-speed.

Here’s a few from Friday, there wasn’t a whole lot to see outside of the custom cavalcade.

Also, thank god for Bill from Brothers, had it not been for him the Autorama would have been a lot worse…

That said, the cars are cool and all, but this is the reason we drive 10+ hours each way every year.

Oh and I wouldn’t be me if I wasn’t perusing market place and found 60 30’s through 60’s parts books and manuals.

so @sinticket and I went to pick them up and 4 hours later we had bought A LOOOOOOOOOTTTTTTTT of tools, books and parts.
Enough to fill up an entire damn Chrysler Pacifica!!!
