Is that a six cylinder distributor? It's hard to tell from the pictures.

There are four terminal towers between the cap attaching screws, so it's a V8.

Assuming this is the correct way to measure it, it is 4.25" dead on making it either:

    Chrysler 331/354 Hemi – 4.25″
    Dodge 315/325 Hemi – 4.25″

I don't see an advance mechanism unless its built in internally and in the bottom:

    Thanks for the info!!!!

To me a Newer model after Unlite , used with box , EFi , I would think its BBM maybe a catalog 2010 -18 ,
    Before Holley
If you hold shaft , Amy movement in rotor button ?
That will tell you Lock out ,
    I still think its a 1st , 2nd gen used with a Ecu or Box .

like Eddy says, try holding the bottom of the shaft, see if the rotor will turn clockwise a little bit, with spring resistance. That would be mechanical advance. If it is "locked out", then the rotor and shaft will be solidly connected together.

While holding the bottom of the shaft, the rotor head turns counter-clockwise a small amount. When turning clockwise it is locked. Does that make it a big block version?

looks to be BB Mopar ,,
    its Front mount Most likely
& counterClock rotation & with advancement.
Maybe reverse rotation for rear mount but that thinking outside the box.

I can not remember if 53 ish F-H ford has a gear on disturber shaft?
    Someone will answer

If you mean "flathead Ford", yeah, they have a gear on the end. I'm with @squirrel, that's a Mopar unit.

I collect vintage Mallory distributors and have zero interest in stuff like this.

That was put there by a fax machine. There is no identifiable information except the part number and type:

Part #: 5457815 which is stamped into placard
and Type: YH which is a separate label

The 5457815 number is not in my 2005 catalog. I believe it is a big block Chrysler 440, 426, etc.

Just off top of head & remembering things, I am sure not a Unlite module that I've seen all have been"" Red ""
    With Eye ,
Looks to be magnetic pick up ,
So I am wondering if it the 9000 series
Or after , or around same time ,
Again thinking & remembering 97 ish
Or much later , But sure before Holley
