History Gas Station give aways & noveltys from the past

    My '35 Cornbinder was parked in 1958.
    Found this keychain (key fits ignition!) during 'deconstruction' -

    Had one of those fire helmets as a kid, about 10 years ago I was in my parents ba*****t and went to have a look at it only to discover some one removed it from the box! No idea who or how long ago it was taken, it was on the same shelf for probably 30 years. I actually put the empty box on Ebay and a fireman in Ohio bought it for $28. He always had the helmet but never the box it came in.

    Esso in the UK gave away stick on bullet holes to coincide with the James Bond film Gold finger. Again in 1972, they promoted the F A Cup Centenary with a collection of coins and a commemorative album, the only one I managed to complete, with help from neighbors who had no kids
