***A delivery signature will be needed on this shipped item*** For sale vintage used modified Ford C6 empty automatic transmission case for the small block engine series engines (302, 351W, 351C). Casting number = D4OP 7006 BA/D40P 7006 BA It has the Ford "small block" bolt pattern, and the full set of bell housing-to-case strengthening ribs. It uses the push-in style vacuum modulator. It has a case mounted detent spring/wheel ***embly, so it's meant for a non-internal detent valve body. But an internal detent style valve body can be used if the case detent spring/wheel is unbolted & removed from this case. This Ford C-6 case is mostly empty except for the rear parking pawl ***embly, and a few main shaft bushings. This Ford C-6 case has been modified, modifications include: (A) Drilled & threaded 1/8" pipe thread hole for an internal TransBrake style valve body wire p***-through connector seal fitting. If an internal Trans Brake style valve body isn't going to be used a conventional style valve body can still be used with this C6 case if a 1/8" pipe plug is installed in the TB wire p***-through hole. (B) The bellhousing has been drilled with three (3) holes for increased torque converter cooling & torque converter bolt access. (C) Some of the unused bellhousing ears have been removed for trans tunnel clearance. It has been sitting on the shelf for years, so it needs a good cleaning to remove any remaining dirt/surface rust/paint/etc before rebuilding & install. $350 + shipping.
