heres what i have been doin on the vicky

    Some of you remember i was trying to sell this body (half sedan and half vicky , well i just built a ch***is and made it a unibody drag car, here is how it looks so far, body is coming along fine, the eng is ready, p/g trans and cvtr ready, rear end ready and every part bought and waiting to go on just have to make a body out of this pos and its comin around. . look it over and imagine a frankenstein theme race car paint job .... be ready to race in jan 07 or so... :cool:

    You guys would get more done if ya'll didn't sit in those chairs all afternoon looking at it......ad talking about it.

    well i moved and swept under them today . did go get the nova straight axle car and brought it home and did ya notice the new sedan body is home as well, back on the vick tomorrow eve..........stay tuned...:cool:

    Is this the one that is 28-29 Fordor front half and 30-31 Vicky back? If so it looks a lot better that the first time I saw it, and is in far better shape tham my '32 Vicky.:D

    well it is a 30 31 front and vicky back but it is a lot better than when i first got it. the rechop is still underway but gettin there.:cool:

    What do you mean by "unibody"? Looks like a standard body-on-frame deal to me...from the pics you posted?

    Vickys will always be the coolest non-roadster Ford bodies...I dig this one thus far!

    hey Hack, well i built the entire ch***is and then floored it and then put the front and back of the body on and around the cage and welded it together and to the floor it is all one deal now .........:eek:

    they overlap like a sedan but are lookin pretty darn good to me, i'm likin it, your car is my screen wall paper.......kool car :cool:

    Man I can't believe what you've done with what you started with. Henry may have donated some pieces but you truly built this car. Looking forward to seeing this in the stageing lane.
    As a side note, alot of people call the Vicky a sedan but Ford desiginated it a coupe.
    You can desiginate your creation as whatever you want. I desiginate it as very cool.

    wewll thanks man, I see it as frankenstein and will prolly hae him on it and the neked girl on the back will no doubt have bride of frank hair hehe........ hope to run in the high nines with it.......

    update , finnally got the roof sewed together all the way around the body, took two front 28 29 pcs, the vicky rear uppers and made center pcs from a fordoor roof, . it is all on and braces built now i will put a van ribbed roof on this weekend.. stay tuned.........:cool:

    I like those flanged holes in your visor...I just bought a tool set to flang a bunch of holes in my interior. Lookin' good Sam.

    thanks that is hole saw and a large and small argon bottle lids for dies hehe......but hey it works fine and it is just a race car.....................:cool:

    oh yeah, you know what i mean, use what ya got, that has been workin for me for yrs , why change now.... now i need to build a fairly large patch for the bustle where it has been cut out for whatever reason. that will be fun........:cool:

    no too many, i think it will be a semi gloss color with a shiney roof........:cool:
