A few months ago I decided I wanted to build my own hotrod. I took a few pictures today before I started working on it. The body is a 26 touring. My plan is to replace the front seat back and remove the rest of the body behind it. The trailer you see in the photos is actually a 37 or 38 someone built a trailer out of. I'm salvaging the front end out of it. Check out the nice steering setup. It looks like with a little cutting and grinding I can return the axle to it's original state. I'll split the wishbones and put a spring behind the axle. I plan to run the wide fives all the way around with some wider rims out back on a more sturdy rear axle. I'll post more pics when I make some progress. This forum is great and has answered so many of my questions. Paul's 60s T Modified build in the tech section will really come in handy on this project. I hope you all get a good laugh out of the wagon.

It sure does look like one I looked at in Norfolk a few months back. It was sitting on a table inside the back room of the guys shop. I went there to look at an old Chrysler.

I decided to do something different, I am building a 25 Chevy that will be all Chevy.

Hey, if you want I can set you up with a photo album on my web site for tracking your progress. www.tristaterodders.com

For all you Texas football fans, YOUR SO LUCKY!

I wonder what they used to haul around in that trailer that didn't fall out through the bottom.. Anyway good luck with your build..

Got the frame tacked together last night. As soon as I find a rear end I should have a roller. I'll post more pictures when I get farther along. Maybe someone with lots of time and some photoshop skills can drop a V8 in the wagon, haha.
