No truer words could be said about Judy….. She lived a great life and touched many people. We celebrated her p***ing last year with a packed church with many of her friends… I’m glad I knew her and she considered me a friend.
When I started at EMD, GM’s locomotive division in 1971 there were still quite a few women there working as machine operators, armature winders, small parts ***emblers, etc. They had hired in during WW II and wanted to stay 30 years to get their full pension. Women played a very important part to the war effort.
Wow! Is that THE Harold Clisby of fame in Sth.Australia and far afield? If so,he was a brilliant engineer and is still revered here. For his down time he built miniature steam locos and trains and ran them around his Adelaide foothills property.
